– I have been to a nearby town where I saw some lovely old houses.
– I have been shopping for Sinterklaas-presents.
Sinterklaas is a holiday we celebrate in the Netherlands. In the 15th century it was celebrated for the first time. Back then, in the name of Saint ‘Klaas’, the church gave presents to the poor and sick. Right now, it’s more about giving presents as a family with crazy poems about the old saint. In the Netherlands it isn’t really custom to celebrate Christmas withg presents, because we celebrate Sinterklaas and Christmas is more a Christian holiday than a reason to give presents.
– I had a good talk about being a High Sensitive Person.
– I have been reading through Ephesians with She Reads Truth.
I follow this reading plan with the Bible app of YouVersion on my phone. I highly recommend it!
